Its ok, there is a get of of jail free card. Its called "cleavage" - ShaunSA is exempt from displaying cleavage :D

True, but I like that there's a date to work towards (not that kind of date Shaun!). Usually I'll start, get lazy or bored and procrastinate. This way if I fall off the wagon, I have incentive to get back on again.

Absolutely agree. I can't count the number of times I've fallen off the wagon, and totally forgotten about my goals for months! At least this time there is a bunch of people to slap you!

Ive got a preliminary goal for now, need to be a bit lighter and slimer by the 22Oct, going on holiday to Asia for three weeks, so gotta push for the next 6 weeks :D

Where you going? My daughter and friends are off to Thailand in December for a few weeks as well.

Goddam diet gimmicks

It's not a goddam diet gimmick! Although it could be used as such... I would be doing it for the health benefits whether I was fat or not. The documentary I posted is really interesting.

Nope, not this one. If you haven't done IF, you won't understand, but all that fasting teaches you how to control food and not let food control you.

This is a MASSIVE point. I did a 14 day 'juice fast', and it was a total reset of my mindset. To actually learn the difference between real hunger, and programmed eating habits was incredible. Learning that you actually can control yourself and that you won't die if you don't have that piece of cake (for 14 days!) is a truly profound experience.

I learnt this when I pulled my teeth and couldn't eat :D But just one day it fell from the sky that I don't need food all the time and after that little brainwave things have been much easier. I get hungry and crave things now and then but not like in the past when I felt like killing something to get what I'm lus for...

Which is a good thing, control the food and the cravings, these are good things if you battling with weight. Discipline is the name of the game.

I will just shake my head in a combination of haughty derision and ever so slight amusement.
