Weight loss

First and foremost thanks guys.
I have started using the walker machine now. I am going to be eating main course at lunch instead of supper. Drink more water and start taking the dogs for a walk when the weather clears up.... That is it so far but not too sure what foods to go for so I am going to do soem research online :)

I am going to do soem research online :)

That's not how it works... You dream up a question, post it here and wait for the scientifically proven researched facts to appear :D
And some comments.
Maybe an argument or two.

lol ok so do you guys think it is better to have main meal at lunch and something light for dinner? I am going to try that out over the next couple of weeks and see how that helps. I really need to shed at least a quarter of my wight off by my birthday if I can

It won't help if your main meal is 90% carbs.

For me main meal for lunch works. I get hungry around 4 and have a small snack and then often don't even get hungry for supper or will have something very small.

just a little bit of meat, a very small portion of rice and some veg

In before OMB...

Drop the rice

Also drop processed foods, cereals, carbs (no bread, rice, pasta, cakes etc) add some healthy fats aka avocado, cheeses etc and away you go.

And sugar, cut out the sugar, things start tasting so much better after a week or two.

Hmmm it seems there's a retailer conspiracy to discourage me getting on with fat loss. First Lindt on special, then this weekend I find WW organic peanut butter discounted. Damnit. I can't not take advantage of these prices :D

On another note, I was not expecting a big diff between Lindt 85% and 90% but WOW... the 90 is so nice, amazingly smooth. yummmehhhh

I'm with L666 here. Cut the sugar out of everything you would normally add it to.

Read up about carbs coz some are better then others and make your choices from there.

+1.
I lost 5kg in 2 weeks and I ate carbs... Just keep the quantities low. (I picked up the weight again thanks to mince pie season )
And cutting out sugar works very well.

okay thanks guys. I have to have to cut down on sugar. I dont eat a lot of it luckily but like with my coffee, I have to have at least 1 sugar but I don't have much coffee either so that's a good thing and I am drinking rooibos at the moment with no sugar and a little milk.

You have to look out more for the hidden sugar, such as the massive 20gr per 100gr in Special K and other processed foods.
