What? MWeb does not accept domain transfer ticket. Again!

Thanks for the feedback potion... sheesh, what a schlep.

Thanks for letting me bend your ears everyone. The domain has been transferred and happiness abounds!

As a postscript I should note that the procedure required by MWEB is not clear to even its own people working inside the system. My frustration was caused by my anticipation of something and having something else get in the way; by my expectation that a 24-hour window is more than adequate for this kind of process to run its course; by my embarrassment at having assured my client that the process would be relatively quick and painless and then having to renege, powerless to force a speedy outcome. Then I reacted by railing against the system. If only the FIRST person I spoke to at MWEB could have told me... If only there was an article on their website explaining "how to transfer a domain/web-hosting service from MWEB"... then I would have known what to expect

I will shortly post an article in this very forum explaining "How to transfer a .co.za domain from MWEB to another web-hosting service provider"

@MWEB guy. Please don't quote the entire original post — it's unnecessary.

The point of this thread is NOT to resolve an issue with the transfer of the one domain — it is used here to demonstrate the issue.
the point of your thread is to bitch and moan and then complain some more when some one attempts to assist and get the matters resolved.

quit being a whiner

Had the similar issue when transferring my domain to afrihost. I liked mweb but they couldn't point my mx records to google apps so tried to move from them. Took them about a week to actually it moved
