Went to Durban the weekend

Business class food was salad and a lentil curry with cous cous

Landed at 830 and went to daruma umhlanga
Platter for 2 with fried rice

Also had a cucumber salad there and damn was good IMG_20181123_190743.jpegIMG_20181123_191733.jpegIMG_20181123_221100.jpegIMG_20181123_221119.jpeg

I guess I am doing a bit of Thread Hijacking but where can one get a Sous Vide in south africa? Preferably the stick types? I know you get the Severin from yuppiechef, but that is really on the pricy side IMO.
And I am kind of looking for it by the end of the week. I also tried amazon but they only have 120v and not 220v.

Made a bacon, onion, bell pepper, mushroom, feta, egg mixture poured into a shallow disk and baked it in the oven,. nom nom nom

Checkers.

I haven’t tried it but it’s a clone of the Severin and I can’t see why it wouldn’t work.

Is this it? I saw it today and I'm thinking I might want to try it out.
