Redbreast is epic. My wife bought me a bottle for my birthday one year...

How is that Suntory? I have the Chita (or what's left of it) and initially I thought it was overrated but its grown on me and I cant find it within myself to finish it

I took advantage of the More4Less at Makro today and bought myself two 12yo Glenfiddich's and 2 12yo Aberlour's. The list was long, but the budget lacking

I like it, pretty strong nose and also lingers long after tasting

Sadly in CPT, I quite liked this as I got down the bottle, quite a nice spice forward whisky. Very much in the compass box spice tree wheelhouse but not as well rounded. Though it's possible it changed as there are 2 batches.

Maybe try it a bit more and play with some water and time in the glass? I usually give whisky at least a bit past the neck before I determine I don't like it at all.

Those Ardbeg prices are looking really good. And that The Balvenie Caribbean Cask is fantastic and a bargain at that price.

I wonder what the stock situation will be however?
