Nice. My wife and I have been having Sunday cocktails for the last few weeks and this has been on the radar although we haven't tried it yet. I'll promote it to the head of the queue and have this Sunday.

I've found my new guilty pleasure. 3 or 4 ice cubes in a whisky glass (a tumbler, not a snifter/tasting/nosing glass) and enough Maker's 46 to almost cover the cubes. Let it sit for a minute or two (until condensation starts to build on the glass) and enjoy. Goodness me it's a good drink!

just requires one to not overthink the Ardbeg sacrifice it takes to make one

What is the Loch Lomond like? that buy 1 get 1 free deal sounds quite good

I found it similar to the inchmurrin range with a bit more wine influence in the background. Very drinkable IMHO.

I'm not sure I'd pay the full fair as there is lots of other things to choose from in the R650 price range (ardbeg 10 anyone?) but well worth it on the deal price.
