Don't do it. They keep hitting your teeth and make a racket in your glass.

I don't like drinking from square glasses though...drinking from the traight side feels uncomfortable and I don't want to find the corner with my mouth the whole time either.

Square cube in a round tumbler...not the same as a round peg in a square hole. :p :thumbsup:

I have a few tiny granite whisky stones. Not soapstone, real granite. They are nowhere near as big as an ice cube, nd about 1/4 of the size of a usual ice cube so they work well.

I don't understand their point well enough though. When I drink whisky and I want it chilled, I usually want it watered down as well, thus ice. If I want the whisky watered down and not chilled (like most single malts), I use spring water.

So yeah. I wanted a big round ice ball thing, but eh. A regular cube works well enough for me.
 
I have these, probably been going for about 3 years now. Works really well, excellent quality and easy to fill with no spillage. Worth every cent.

Together with our friends at Single Cask Nation, an American-based independent bottler, we've selected a single cask Tennessee bourbon from an undisclosed distillery*! Distilled in September 2007, matured for 13 years in a charred, American oak virgin cask, and bottled in 2020. Only 108 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 56.3%.

PRIMAL MATURED MALT SPIRIT


In Victoria Yards, an urban regeneration project in Johannesburg, lies the Primal Spirits Distillery, a small craft distillery producing high-quality spirit and gin. During the second alcohol ban, head distiller Irvin, who has a passion for whisky, started running new make malt spirit and experimenting with small cask maturation.

After a visit and some tasting, the WhiskyBrother x Primal Spirits collaboration was born and we're pleased to announce the first release, in a series of four, showcasing Primal's work-in-progress whisky.

Produced using peated malt, the spirit was matured for a total of 3 months in a combination of 30L American oak bourbon and Sauternes casks, that were refreshed for a week with a mixture of sherry and port prior to filling. Only 40 bottles were produced, each individually numbered. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 56.2%. (Bottled size 500ml)
