Will Madonsela release 'state capture' report?

Des is used to, errmmm, losing things. He'll get over it ;)

Well if I read the latest, he just f****d up big time as he included parts of her report/questions in his request. So now they are public knowledge :D

Dumba**.

"By accident"

You know how these things happen

wikileaks, send....

really simple, even a photo will be enough......

these interdicts are nice, but meaningless once "leaked" and as wikileaks is all about preserving anonymity,
some staffer from her office could take a photo of it, and make this court thing a joke.....

I don't see how it guarantees that the "preserved" report will ever be published by the new Public Protector :(

Pretty sure it will be part of the condition and in her role as PP, she can enforce her office to be legally bound by agreeing to the order today.

They should do it already.

Yes, it is, but I think they should include in the order an indication of where it will be kept, who will order it's release (or not), etc.
I don't think it being altered will fly as it's completed and signed. And should the eventually published report differ, you can bet Madonsela will speak out

She can't force her successor to abstain from using every delay tactic in the book while dancing to Zuma's tune though.
I have a very strong sense that this thing will get buried unless it is either published today, or leaked.

Absolutely. Hopefully the court order will say something like, if JZ's application for an interdict gets turned down on Tuesday, the report must be released with immediate effect. I am sure the lawyers will try to have that included.

Zuma and Des need to be held personally liable for costs. The public should not have to pay for their stall tactics to save their asses...

Des has shot himself in the foot BIG time.

He's made public things he was not allowed to, by including them in the court order.
Including details of findings and allegations against him.

Actually she can. She is still PP until tomorrow and anything she signs is binding against the PP office. If the office chooses to ignore a court ruling, the whole thing will fall apart.

being in power, and with majority vote gives them blank cheques to get the best lawyers money can buy,

I actually think by not releasing and blocking it at every turn, its caused more harm than good......
I mean we all know what it will say? you have to be an id10t to think it absolves him and the guptas of anything.....

this PP job isnt that hard.....
