Will Madonsela release 'state capture' report?

Des van Rooyens affidavit leaks some of the report

dont worry somebody will take a photo or copy the document, or hack into her email/PC and leak it....

in this day and age, anything that is digitized, can be leaked.....and then all these laws are pointless....
no stopping it then.....

but to be fair, Thuli is a straight person, that actually upholds the law....
so its against her morals to leak such things, even though the person she is up against will block it at every turn.....

but a staffer at her office, or somebody who services the copier, thats another story.....

Actually she can. She is still PP until tomorrow and anything she signs is binding against the PP office. If the office chooses to ignore a court ruling, the whole thing will fall apart.

and what confidence has Zuma and his cronies given you the past couple of years when it comes to obeying court orders?

Legally, maybe, she can force things on her successor, physically on planet Zuma, she can't do anything after today.

No but with her support, political parties can increase the pressure on the ANC and its appointed govt officials .....

Stalled till Tuesday... Fire at PP office on Monday?

...and who knows how easy it is to hack into and download the document records stored on a copier .......

That is also why one of the forumites questions about WHO will hold the report is so important. It should be a third party who will action on instruction from the court.

An IT forum and no hackers here. You guys had one job

well we need to know what brand copier, and what brand pc, and where its stored,
then its easy to do it..... the guy who visits to "fix" the PC or copier can do it.....

I mean documents leak all the time from copiers, and google cloud
only way to secure it is to delete all digital copies, and hide it under your bed.....
and even then its possible,

maybe if she memorized it and put it up on pastebin......

New evidence of South Africa 'state capture' uncovered

Karen Allen

BBC southern Africa correspondent, Johannesburg

Just hours before South Africa’s anti-corruption chief Thuli Madonsela is due to stand down, the BBC has learnt that damning cellphone evidence is a key part of her investigation into so-called state capture, which President Jacob Zuma is trying to suppress.

Sources close to Ms Madonsela say evidence gathered from cellphones show that the man chosen to succeed a popular finance minister who was dramatically sacked last year, had spent the previous evening at the home of the Guptas – a wealthy Indian business family alleged to wield influence over the president.

Critics of the public protector claims she has exceeded her powers and is on a mission to try to topple the Mr Zuma, but she maintains she is just doing her job.

The sources say the cellphone evidence corroborates a whistle blower's story that the Gupta family had undue influence over government appointments.

The recordings allegedly reveal that the night before Finance Minister Nhlanla Nene was sacked last December the man who was selected to succeed him was drinking tea with the Guptas at their home in Johannesburg.

Ms Madonsela had planned to release her explosive interim findings, just hours before she is due to step down later today, but she has been stopped by a legal challenge from the president.

Or a highly orchestrated "robbery" over the weekend like when they hit the Helen Suzman Foundation: http://www.news24.com/SouthAfrica/News/no-ordinary-robbery-at-helen-suzman-foundation-20160321

I don't want to be this negative, but every millisecond of delay is a millisecond closer to the report being buried, not to it being published.

if I were thuli, I woudnt sleep this weekend....
every gangster and hitman is after her, and her office.

doesn't her official VIP protection stop now?

so she must buy a minigun and go Rambo on them?
:D

Zuma must think the people of his country are stupid.
He is in for a big awakening.
Time for him to take note of what is happening in Brazil with his friend Lula. That happened after their population had enough.

Did Des's lawyers seriously not consider the consequences of disclosing snippets of the PP questions was against their clients interest as it became public domain?

/makes personal note, don't hire those lawyers.

I'm playing devil's advocate here but what difference will the report make? There's nothing new in it, it simply confirms what everybody knows i.e. Zuma's corrupt and Guptas hold the power.
