There are some channels, news in particular for me, and sport for others which you cannot reliably stream elsewhere. And i don't want 10 apps, 5 NUC's and 3 pi's just to watch the news.

You may have to embrace the dark side until content providers catch a wake up with live TV, like they did for movies and series.

Who downloads torrents or NZBs anymore? Pretty much nobody compared to before, because the legitimate alternatives are attractive and convenient...

There are other options, will exercise them, to my benefit.

If I need to torrent the odd movie so be it, but even torrent index sites are no longer what they used to be.
