Windows 7 Beta Available tomorrow

It's 12:30pm in the New York now. When does Microsoft officially decide it will be afternoon for me? Do I have to wait for 12:pm PST? Anyone got an acccurate time when the download will be available? I see the servers are up and running again, but still no change.....

It's already available. Check on TechNET.
 
Some of us don't have access to Technet.... It does actually cost quite a bit of money.

According to Microsoft there are 2.5 million keys to go around worldwide so plenty in other words. Microsoft is also providing a QFE patch for the MP3 corruption issues that have plagued build 7000, this should be online shortly as KB961367. It's extremely important you apply this patch as you may lose parts of your MP3s if the patch is not applied.

OK, if you'd read the post, you would have seen that link was already posted... but having access to Technet downloads, and something being up on Technet in the Customer Preview are different things...
 
Seems the technet site might be overloaded as I can't get a key. Get the following error:

"Error

The site is currently experiencing technical difficulties, please check back in the next business day."

I'm afraid that by the time "the next business day" comes around the 2.5m keys might have been given out already...... :(
 
actually mine just throws me an error that it can't find the page... :mad:
 
I can't remember my .Net Passport information. I've set it to be remembered everywhere and now I'm on another PC where its not stored and I can't seem to remember it. The security question I'm being asked doesn't match up with my answer so I'm fooked. :(

Edit: I eventually got it reset, but now the servers timeout [same as with you guys]

Strange, they must have pulled the plug.

Technet now says : "Windows® 7 Beta coming soon!" and does not load any further.
 
Quick question, didn't read the thread. MS goes over Akamai, would I be able to get the link on international and download it with local? Should most likely work that way, so use your local rather, I'll try it when it's available.
