Windows Mobile 6 and rapimgr.exe cause 100% CPU usage

Any idea's? It is part of ActiveSync 4.5 and came with the installation CD for an HTC S710. I have Mcafee Total Protection 2009 but it runs in the task manager at 100% of CPU all the time

Does it happen when you plug the phone in? What happens if you stop it and restart? Is it trying to access your disk at the time, I know some processes run away if the file they are writing to has the incorrect permissions or is corrupt.
