Change your router first and make sure that isn't the problem.

Speak to your isp to monitor your traffic or move to Afrihost or Cool Ideas

Is it your MikroTik?

If yes
check your firewall/block lists
else if
Ask Owner/ISP to check
Or simply swap it out with another unit to check.

Cause I know incorrectly set-up Mikrotik's can give a lot of crap.

When router is excluded, only then raise a ticket with ISP and if they cant sort it the swap to another provider like @Pho3nix suggested.

Personally can second Afrihost as I have zero complaints on their fibre re gaming.

So you have access to the Mikrotik then.

Enabling uPNP properly may resolve your issue then. You need to enable it and mark the external and internal interfaces correctly then it should sort itself out.

That’s assuming this no name brand ISP isn’t running some crappy C-NAT setup to same some bucks and make more profits, then your only option would be to change away from them. Which usually is impossible as they are locked into the security complex contract etc.

Tell them you are leaving them in 1 month as there is an issue with them, let them fix it or find another ISP.

Complain, complain and more complain as you are the customer !?

I'd find another ISP but that's my opinion ;) ISP's are a dime in a dozen for me, they are sharks and overcharge us here in SA. We get screwed by them and they know this !

I have a similar issue on my ps3 connecting to the psn network. I am with sadv and cellc. If i use my phone as a hotspot on telkom mobile, everything works and the NAT type etc is fine.

I tried explaining this issue to the cellc agent but they had no idea what i was talking about.

So I dunno if it is related, but we have a an ISP branded router because of the way shut works here and the WiFi from the Xbox refused to connect. I got an Ethernet cable out and all my problems went away.

Not always ideal but nothing really beats a wired connection.

Just picked up Days Gone off the Steam Black Friday sale. Running it on my aging GTX 1060 and it works pretty well. Have to say I am early on in the game still but completely loving it. I hope more of the classic Playstation Studios games make their way to PC at some stage but I'm sure the cornerstones like God of War probably wont.

wow I didn't see God of War coming to PC! Now I feel like I've got a PS4 :laugh:
 
To be honest, I’m tired of all these games being so buggy now. I used to love gaming but now it’s actually inconvenient and I’m genuinely thinking of selling my Series X

Forza games are generally pretty stable. Bad updates happen, these games are insanely complex so just give them time to patch it.

Same for me, started playing Halo MP again.

I also finished Yakuza: Like a Dragon yesterday.

62 hours later and I had a fun time, I love the series.

Hopefully the Judgement games also comes to GP.
