Onionshare?I haven't, so many thanks for the suggestion.
That said, I think (to be fair) that my requirement is closer ti Internxt & Blackhole:: the occasional sharing of files that I would prefer remain anonymous![]()
Far too complicated for most of my friends, whose first question would be along the lines of "What is this Tor thingy and is it related the LOTR ?"
Thanks. Added.
Thank you. I have reviewed the inclusion of IntelliJ Community.Technically if intellij community is on the list, visual studio community Edition should be on it as also free until certain conditions are met.
Probably need a tag saying free with limitations for commercial or something.
Do you know if the acquaintance is on a paid subscription ?I have not used it but have an acquaintance who does and says it's great.
Thanks. I've added these except Wireframe Magazine because it's open source content rather than software. Cool link though.
Are you suggesting this for the list or just sharing with us for general interest?- yes, technically it is software with the source published but it's more like content than a general use application so I don't think I'll add it to the list. It is certainly interesting and relevant to this thread though. This is the source for ossdatabase.com .
OssDatabse is a database of open source software alternatives for proprietary software.
The project is built using Ruby on Rails.
Agreed, its Speedfan but in a pretty dress with a more modern and user friendly interface
Thanks. I can't can't see any links on their page to source code or a license so i think it's Freeware rather than FLOSS but thanks for the suggestion. There used to be a "lite" and paid version, FXSound is an equaliser \ audio enhancer and now completely free.
