Report it if you think that it's inappropriate, then one of the mods could take the necessary action (or inaction if it's deemed ok). Seems like a judgement call to me as it could have been in response to what was said earlier :)

I am gobsmacked! There are folk out there who are intelligent enough to type a posting who seem to believe that Zuma could actually govern this country. God help us!!!

AFAIK Double Jeopardy only means you can't be tried for the same crime twice ( unless new evidence is found and the case is re-opened ). If a new case is opened against him, its a whole new crime and a whole new trial.

And i doubt DJ will work on rape since you can rape the same person twice and be charged twice.

Edit: Oh for the sake of keeping the thread on track, i don't think JZ should be president along with any other politician since they all useless ( hence why i dont vote ). If it happens well then it happens and im glad i had nothing to do with it. The day politicians stop thinking about themselves is the day you'll have a REAL candidate

Sorry if this is asked before, but what would happen if Zuma is ANC president and is tried for corruption on the arms deal?

Would he stay in as ANC president even if that turns in SA president while trial is continuing? Would he remain in office until verdict, in which case could he give himself a pardon? I'm stretching it here, but time is not really on his side with the top position and the recent supreme court ruling about his corruption case.
