I have had enough of Afrihost now. They used to be a brilliant transparent provider but no more. Lies lies lies. I am lucky to get 10% of my bandwidth during the day.

I would like to know where people have moved to and what their experience is so far. I would like uncapped 4meg.

Thanks!

Afrihost capped.

Afrihost capped and business running at full speed with streaming and torrents?? No shaping?

Web Africa. Couldn't handle the unreliability of Afrihost, and that issue seems to extend to both their business uncapped and capped products.
Netflix, torrents, etc run flawlessly on WA and they are priced better on the base uncapped packages.

Any international streaming is a problem on Afrihost business. Whther it be Netflix, Twitch or Youtube vids that aren't locally cached.

I don't like Web Africa's 30 day cancellation policy.

And?

They've given me great performance so don't see myself canceling anytime soon.

Thanks all. I have cancelled my account with Afrihost and will be signing up with webafrica business data at the end of the month. Keeping my line with Afrihost coz can't be bothered to change that.

Chevron I read your thread on webafrica and am convinced. Thanks for updating that thread. Tried the 1 gig free account and realised just how cramp Afrihost has become!

My point is that if/when things stop being "great", you're stuck for an extra month, which isn't the case with Plugg or Connection.

Meh. Then I'll get a capped account to tie over till the new month. Not really an issue for me to be honest.

Oh I love how I predicted this would happen when everyone fled from Mweb.
