It will take time, and a few things are indeed happening behind the scenes. The cable has already had an impact and it will continue to shake things up - just not as fast as some people expected.Well to be honest, it is not Seacom's fault that prices have not yet come down. They are a cable company, not a magic shop.
Another dumb article.
After a few articles appeared on MyBroadband about the pricing on Seacom being the same and only cheap when you buy over a 20 yr contract, now all of sudden its going to be filtering through reduced prices?
So which one is it?
They are still testing stuff. Wait till october. Hopefully 8mbit and new seacom products for us by then. I dream of unlimited local again
Great things are coming in October![]()
Here is my feedback:
September is a few days away and I'm still paying the same for my few gigs a month. Seacom has had no impact on my ADSL quality or pricing.

I lay the blame with the Government and the monopolistic local telecomms industry.
