Can you believe it. I cant even open gmail!!!! When I connect my mtn phone, I open it faster than I open myAdsl with my virgin phone. Can Virgin get any worse? What can one do to make them listen? I hate them!:mad::mad:

Hey. I don't know if you are talking about using your phone as a modem but when I browse gmail on my actual phone it works. I got a N73. I tested it out now after reading your post. It works with the xhtml, html browser and with the application...

But there internet is always dropping and my mms still hasn't been working since I been with and the data centre never phones back...Dunno how they expect to win customers this way...

Actualy virgin does open gmail, both on pc and phone. Damn did i just say something good about virgin..lol

I'm using a motorola v360, can there be a setting or something that can prevent gmail from opening?

How U using your phone? Using the phone as a modem and browsing on PC there should be no problem. If you are browsing on phone mebbe the phones browser can't open gmail. You can try accessing gmail with the application for your phone then...

http://gmail.com/app on yr cellphone

I can open gmail with Virgin using my phone as a modem via PC and I can open it directly on my phone, the phone a Nokia N80. No problems.

Phone modem, open gmail on pc. I done it always like this, but the last 2 weeks it wont open. Can it be something else? Will try now on phone, but thats not what I want.

if its only gmail that you cant access then the problem can only be either with your gmail login or your browser. Try downloading OPERA browser and using that.:p

I've always used ff, and it wont open in any of the other browsers. I cant understand why it's just gmail. I'm telling you, it's just this ugly virgin!!!

I just opened gmail now with mtn, same browser and everything. Wonder what happened to all the virgin reps? I emailed Shane Perry, but no response.
