Don't use these features. I noticed Roxio's Toast to have better multthreading performance though. Compressor still doesn't go above
75% quad core utilisation.

How many of you are running Leopard? I am still on tiger and all my apps works great. Is is really worth the R1000 upgrade cost?

I have Tiger on my Mini and Leopard on the Macbook (came with it). I'm loving Leopard, but to be honest, I wouldn't miss it if I hadn't gotten used to it already.

I think I will put that R1000 rather towards a lens for my DSLR.

I bought Leopard a few weeks ago with an external hard drive and really liking it so far - there are a few bugs but I hear 10.5.2 will fix most and add few more features. The biggest problem I had was having to do a clean install - the upgrade option really slows down your Mac. So if you can handle putting aside several hours of re-installing your software then it is a great upgrade.

Don't get me wrong, I really like leopard so far. I just haven't stumbled upon anything yet that make it a must-have for me. I gues that's mostly because I haven't exactly been using Tiger for long before I got my Macbook with Leopard, so I can't say I know either very well.
