Steve Jobs received a measly 1 dollar bonus despite the fact that some Apple executives took home cash bonuses that were double their salaries.

Yes he gets paid $1 by Apple... but he has a boat load of shares, and gets share options etc I would guess.... and he's a major shareholder in Pixar/Disney now and probably gets lots from them too
 
I admire CEOs who don't waste company money on their own salaries and bonuses, but rather reward them selfs by making the companies more successful and thus their shares worth more.

Think 'ol Buffet and the google guys.

If you want to see the opposite, have a look at yahoo, Eskom and government.
 
Good move Mr Jobs. Especially considering the warning from Apple that Ipod sales are slowing much quicker than expected. Although to br perfectly honest, payinh himself a $1m bonus would have had very little impact on the books - its very much a publicity stunt!
