HIV/AIDS not a Virus?

Here are some Question people almost never ask themselves about HIV/Aids:

1.) Where does the disease come from?

2.) How do we test for HIV/AIDS and how does the Test work?

3.) Why is there no cure?


Here are some astonishing answers:

1.) No one truly knows, the first acknowledged appearance of HIV/Aids was in the gay population of California. At first it was believed to be cancer and so people we given chemotherapy a treatment which only further impaired the immune system of the patient. First famous person to get HIV/AIDS was Brock Hudson a famous Hollywood actor of the time which was gay.

2.) There are two types of tests in wide use. The Quick test and the Hospital test for your immune cell (cdc) count. Both of these tests are considered bogus by critics. The Quick test tests for anti-bodies in your blood, and if you have a combination of two or three you are considered having HIV/AIDS... in other words if you have a cold bug, a tb bug and a laryngitis bug you can be considered to have HIV even though you do not have HIV/Aids. Depending on which country you live in you need less and less of these antibodies in you blood... some countries 1 some countries 2 and others 3... so clearly it is a bogus test. If you were tested positive in the US you can go to Australia and be classified as negative.:confused:

The Immune Cell count is similarly bogus... it counts the amount of immune cells you have in your blood and if you have bellow 200 you are positive. The fact of the matter is that the number of Immune cells in your blood is never constant because your immune cells all work outside your bloodstream and merely travel from point a to point b via blood. Its like counting the number of cars on the highway and assuming that is all the cars in the city. So that test is similarly bogus.

None of the two test test for a VIRUS... they both are anecdotal tests which don't at all prove that HIV/AIDS is because of a virus.

3.) There is no cure because what has happened in the research of HIV/AIDS is no better than what always happens in the science community. We have theories and work around those theories for years before discovering it is utter crap. In other words HIV/AIDS might be some other sort of disease due to another cause... not necessarily a virus. The most convincing proof of this is that there was no electro microscopic photographs of the virus for the first 30 - 40 years of the Virus being known just computer simulations... nothing more...

1. Prominent theory is that is comes from a mutation of SIV
2. Testing for indicators can be quicker and cheaper than looking under an electron microscope. Starting a course of ARVs can nail the virus before it takes hold. But starting a course can have severe side effects - you don't want to take this lightly but you can't wait too long either.
3. Cure for a virus? Interesting - I didn't think that there were cures for any virus let alone HIV.

The answer you gave for 1 is a bunch of carp. The first acknowledged cases arise in West Africa in the late 50s. ROCK Hudson was the first American celebrity to ADMIT to having AIDS - not the first to die from it (although that could be possible). He died in 1985 and I am fairly sure that lots of people died between 1980 and 1985, some of whom could have been celebrities and some of those could have had AIDS.

It happened to have been transmitted, it's thought, from Africa to the US via a cabin attendant who happened to be gay. Because the SF gay community had a number of people showing symptons, it was picked up; if it had initially spread through hetersexual contact, it might have taken a lot longer before it was picked up.
