Hi guys I was just curious as to which of the following do you gamers prefer?

Real time Strategy
Turn-based strategy
First Person Shooters
Role Playing Games
Sports Games
Educational
Simulation

Adventure
Intereactive Movies(eg Farenheit)
Old games
Text Based


etc etc?

My Personal favourites are RPG RTS and FPS...

Favourite RPG : Lionheart,
Fav RTS: Age Of Empires
Fav FPS: Manhunt and hidden and dangerous 2
Fav Turn Based Strategy: Civilization2 , Heroes of might and magic



I also enjoy Simulation games as Flight Sim and im looking for a Hunting Simulation Game

RTS:Impossible creature(this could be in old games to, but its not that old)
FPS:Gunz: the duel
Arcade:Mortal Combat 4(this could be in old games to, this is pretty old)
Old Games:Redneck Rampage
 
RTS: Warcraft II
RPG: Planescape Torment
Turnbase Strategy: Warlords II
Simulation: SMAC
Arcade: New Zealand Story! (Old one!)
Text Based: WOTmud (Wheel of Time mud, still play this on occasion)
Adventure: A Tossup between Spacequest 3, Loom and Monkey Island
 
FPS: Call of Duty 4
RTS: Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour
RPG: Morrowind/Oblivion
Turnbase Strategy: Age of Wonders 2
Arcade: Airwolf
 
CRPG: Don't like the hack and slash rpg's like diablo ect or the sandbox type of rpg's like oblivion/morrowind.

My top favourite games since I can't separate them are Baldur's gate series,Kotor series,NWN series,Witcher and planescape torment.

For the rest:
RTS:Starcraft
Adventure:Kings quest 5 and space quest 6
Arcade: Street fighter 2
FPS:Half life
 
I think I'm more into my FPS's which are : COD4, UT(the 1st one all the way, but i liked the whole series), half life(all of them), Resistance, BF2, and any other fast paced fps...

RPG: warcraft, starcraft, god of war, dmc.

Max Payne, etc...

Racing games( the only games i'm good at hey) well NFS (I got the whole collection, from NFS made by pioneer, to pro street, I got psp version of underground:rivals lol) I'm a huge fan of Grand Tourismo series... but i'm very fussy with my racing games... If it not perfect it's not for me...

So thats what I play...
 
Survival Horror: Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Dino Crisis, etc.
FPS: UT3, Crysis, S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl
RTS: Rise of Nations

Oh yeah, and Resident Evil 4 is the greatest game ever made. Ever. This is non-negotiable.

Sorry buddy, that is your personal opinon - I played it and uninstalled it 5 minutes later.

I can't even tell you the best game ever made (for me) but I can name a few that are just 'must tries' in my opinon :D

Redneck rampage was kinda hilarious !Do you know where I could Buy Gunz ? I always wanted to play that games

FPS - WW2 genre C.O.D series and M.O.H. series, Thief series
RTS - Galactic Battlegrounds, Empire at War.
Turn Based - Master of Orion 2, General series, Rebellion.
Sport - Torino 2006, Links Golf, over 25 courses to play.
Simulation - Porsche2000 , Colin McRae series.
Adventure - Sherlock Holmes, Agatha Christie's range.
Educational/Puzzle - Incredible Machine 2
Old - Doom2, Heretic, Hexen.
