Vodacom 3.6 Mbps HSDPA and HSUPA details

Nothing on price?

I did get the impression though of a somewhat bias towards Vodacom. It makes mention of sub 2.0 speeds but nothing of the sub 0.8 speeds many of us are getting and that there may not be any speed increase at all. A bit one sided are that only Field's comments are given for the costs associated with it.

Still a great article and luckily it's only us that will be reading it.

Yup.

Prom, sub 0.8 happens to be part of sub 2.0 (we learned this in Sub-B ;)) and is part of the same cause.
Sub 2.0 can also mean just below 2.0 (1.8-2.0). This is just a bit misleading and in light of the technology sub 1.8 would have been a better choice to point out no increase in speed. Sub not having a clear definition it would have been better to use well below instead.
But which one shows the network in a better light?

Why not just tell it like it is...?

[I can do droll too ]
Exactly. The uninformed user would think there is always a speed increase and take 'sub' to mean nothing below 1.8 when we know this is not the case. Better to use exact terms and figures instead of sketchy ones.
