Dear Sir
It is with grave concern that I note that Neotel is making inroads and managing to get new clients from all over South Africa.
Nowhere can I see that Telkom is active with cutting their prices and increasing their line speeds all across the board regarding their various products, but still continue with the status quo.
Instead of waiting for Icasa to give the go-ahead for lower pricing, you should already be doing this - start offering bandwidth at reasonable prices and capping to your existing clients. A reasonable cap is not 3Gb, for most of us it is too small.
My suggestion would be to increase the caps with 10Gb all across the board, and cut your prices with 20% to 30% for all products immediately.
Otherwise Telkom runs the danger of following Sentech and iBurst into the cold, dark night.
I thank you for your time reading my open letter, and would like to hear your side of the story.
Kind regards.
Disgruntled Telkom client and user.
