Hi there folks

I am certain we all agree that the Telkom ADSL international bandwidth can and should improve. Currently daytime connections can be as slow as a few kbits/s. This is around 6 times slower than a standard dial up modem connection.

Please use this forum to give your views on ADSL speed and what you think should be done to improve this. We will do the rest. We guarantee anonymity…

We will also appreciate regular speed test postings that we can use as data to present our case. If possible, please give the time and date of the test.

I agree with you.

Speed: 305 kbits/s at 3:36 am. Will drop to 10 kbits/s after 9am tommorow morning.

Sounds like on adsl that decent speed, for the most part, is only attainable after hours??

Well there has been some improvement in the 2 years :D :D since rpm posted that.

well during the day i find adsl as fast as ever i been playing bf 1942 online on overseas server with around 20-25 players with a ping of 420

Telkom should charge less for line rental, then at least we can have fast internet and still afford to eat every month... their price r ridiculous...
