Well, I'm still up and been watching Kazaa like a hawk, and as I'm sure you know by my posting time, it's 6am. How many of you are awake and browsing the web, HTTP? I've queued a number of files, 4 to be exact, and my download speeds are as follows, 0.23 kB/s, oops, make that 0.10 kB/s on only one file!

How many users does telkom have that continuously browse ALL HOURS OF THE DAY & NIGHT???

Well, an update on my speed, it's dropped to 0.05. If this is Telkom's idea of prioritization, they certianly need to sort out their international bandwidth catastrophe as if all their bandwidth is in use at 6am from browsing, I cant even begin to consider what normal browsing will be like during the day with 1000x more users online.

Well, seeing as I'm not a 'Power User' and still up 'not using' my adsl connection; I thought I would just give you an update of my download:

0.05 kB/s

Nope, just disconnected now.

ALL YOU PEOPLE BROWSING THE NET SHOULD BE ASLEEP!!

LOL

Odd how so many are awake and browsing on a Sunday morning don't you think.

I don't think it's telkom's "limited" international b/w, for one reason....If i was a ISDN user (which i was b4 this junk) i can get my good old 7.0k-7.7k international ALL hours of the day or night, whenever i tried, i'll get it. It's not a matter of 'too littie bandwidth' it's a matter of 'we can cap you adsl L0s3rs, and you can't do anything about it'
Why don't they just limit us to 5k?! when capped? i CAN'T EVEN BROWSE when capped, i specially have to pay for a proxy (and NO telkom, don't go and do the expected thing and cap proxy ports aswell)...how rediculous is that...if i browse i will either wait for 10 minutes OR just time-out on the site. Nice hey... [:(!]

Hey syntax, i'm browsing aswell you know ;-) wasting 1MB everytime i refresh this damn page [;)]

but imagine this...we are 2users, browsing a 20mb international line...getting together about 1k/sec...[;)]

I wonder if our measurement units are different just like KM and MILES are different...20mb prolly means 20 / 11.5...to get you 1kb

Hey Rev,

STOP MAKING ME REFRESH THIS PAGE!! [:p] I'm trying to see if I can preserve browsing and get my Kazaa up over 0.03 kB/s.

Hmmm... Doesn't seem to help though. And refreshing the page doesn't seem to affect my Kazaa either. How odd...
