I haven't been able to establish a data connection to MTN since yesterday afternoon although I can make normal voice calls.

Does anyone know whether MTN are having general issues here?
 
Interesting... I have just now received a call from one of our sales guys.
he is currently in Cape, and says he has been unable to connect with his E620 data card..."failed", also since yesterday...
I fugured its coz he hasnt done the update on the card that MTN told us some time ago that the 620 users HAS to do.
But I now also tried accessing the MTN website to get the update, website seems offline???? Well, not off completely, but just shows small MTN bit at the top, none of the usual stuff.

Perhaps Eishkom has decided to shed on their data services?

MTN is working today. It was also up yesterday evening, though a bit of effort was required to get connected.
