Does anyone have the new Cape Town power cut schedules? They're supposed to start from next week, and apparently most suburbs will have two outages of 2 hours each per week on a fixed schedule.
They were published in the newspapers yesterday, I hear, but I can't seem to find them anywhere online. capetown.gov.za says it has the newest schedules, but those are from January :(

Apparently these will only be available Friday or Monday.

Okay, they've got the new schedules up, but they've taken away (and changed) the suburb map that they used to have. Now I'm not sure if I fall into the North part of the suburb, or the Central part. Or whether I sneakily fall into the suburb that I'm right next door to...
Anyone know how I might find out? Or do I have to wait until I'm loadshedded and figure out from there where I fit into the schedule? :p

The pre-emptive load shedding table is up -

Durbanville - once a week on Wednesday 6.00 am to 8.30 am - I can live with that.

Yay Cape Town!
Now can any of the idiots and liars who are paid by City Power get one sorted for Jozi?

And this morning CapeTalk is reporting that the guaranteed preemtive blackouts are not guaranteed or blackouts.
Has anyone been shutdown as per preemptive schedule this morning (Monday 31/3)?
