Hi guys, can anyone tell me if there is an easy way to create a dial-up connection via bluetooth in ubuntu? Im trying to set up my 3G phone as a modem and so far Ive managed to pair the computer and my phone. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, it's not much help if you can't connect to the internet in the first place to install 'gnome-ppp'.

The link you posted said it was tested on Dapper Drake so I'm pretty sure it should still work on the releases thereafter:).

It's excellent, and all you gotta do after booting up, is turn on your bluetooth on your phone, and type 'pon BluetoothDialup' in the terminal and you're connected. Faster than windows... :D

You could also put the command in you login script. Should save you a few keystrokes :p
