Whats the fastest you have used up a big data bundle?

Our one 3GB was finish within 3 days. Telkom eventually capped it on 5.81GB on the 9th of April.

I'm sure there are guys that uses it quicker.
 
I have often used up 2 or 3 gig bundles on the first day of the month. :cool:
 
2x 4mbit lines on a Load balancing router (8mbit)

around 840kb per second, (thats around 50.4mb per minute, i could technically have gotten around 3gigs per hour. But u don't get full speed all the time)

So 2gigs in 1hour +- :>
 
My 24mb line was activated today. I have already downloaded 12 gigs today and still going strong.

Oh, and Im obviously not living in SA anymore. :D:D:D
 
Was downloading at 8MB/s (yes you read correctly) when we switched over to Neotel. Obviously not on DSL though :P

OMG I HATE YOU!!! :D

Othwerwise I get about 10GB's a month on anime on my 64k line downloading 24/7 :)

So, average about 6/7 episodes a day at ±80Mb's Each thats ±500Mbs a day!

that was excluding the latest BP Bleach mini MP4 at 50Mb ;)

im normally finished my 9 gig cap around the 10th of the month

most ive downloaded in a month is about 60 gigs
 
I suspect the OP is talking about 3G bundles, not adsl.

I think I calculated once that my adsl line will go through 1 gig in 12 hours. Never had to d/l more than 700mb in one go though.

Ah in that case used a 500mb bundle in about 10/12 hours playing BF2 on a freinds laptop... :D strange every time I come over he says I must bring my own :confused: ;)

Ya, I miss mine. Had 24mbit when they trialled it in London back in 2005. Could get 80gigs in 1 day :). Now I'm on 4mbit with a 1gig cap :(
