Why dont we all meet somteime?
All the guys in joburg get together.
Then all the guys in cape town,etc,then we could sort of get to know each other and maybe it will make it a lil bit easier to compile a letter.
Then we add all the topics from the different regions and put them as one.
Maybe we are missing someones post somewhere and the idea is not being seen.
Just an idea.
 
Not a bad idea, if we want to get serious about formulating some kind of strategy or action plan.
In addition, there should probably be one "representative" for each of the regions, who compiles the "local strategy" and then coordinates with the other "representatives". Just to make it easier to coordinate and unify across the country and come up with one plan.
 
I'm happy to do North Coast Natal and will stretch to Durban - I am in Salt Rock
 
I think next we would have to get RPM to get a topic going so all active members could post their exact where abouts in SA,(dont want to tread on toes here)plus they always read his posts[:)]
Then we could see where it would be viable to have a meet or not.
Good idea????

Perhaps we need to have 4 meet's in the Gauteng area.

East Rand, West Rand, Nothern Suburbs and Pretoria.

I have been following this thread with interest. I think it is an excellent idea to formulate a well structured plan. Another important product of such a meeting will be to select a representative in the JHB/Pta region. I receive many requests for meetings in the JHB/Pta region, and it will be great if somebody can represent MyADSL in this region. As you all know this will have to be a noble decision as this person will have to cover their own transport costs etc.

I think one reason why not more people are listing their location here is the desire to assist in an ‘anonymous or non-physical’ capacity (I could not find better words for this :-). This site and forum provides a convenient and anonymous environment to make a difference. This is very understandable and I respect both choices.

Please let me know if I can assist in any way.

Well it looks like thats all the responce were going to here,Im in Jbrg,shall we atleast try somthing here?
