broadband in johannesburg and capetown

hi there,

im living in europe and working for an online ad agency. we are currently developing a flash framework for a major international brand, which will also be deployed in south africa.

our client is voicing concern over the use of broadband technology in south africa, and i would like to know if anyone has numbers available for broadband penetration in south africa, capetown and johannesburg (and any other major cities).

if someone could provide those, i would be most grateful

Well think small, like maybe <5% of the population has access to broadband....
 
Ask Telkom, Im sure you'll get a prompt response from them :P The people on the phone is very helpfull and ofcourse Telkom is very optimistic about the figures...

Icasa would probably be the best bet or Mybroadband :P
