Hi

I would like to apologize for the downtime yesterday. The hosting company seems to be having some problems (please find the email below). I contacted them immediately after I realized there was a problem, but unfortunately they only fixed the problem much later. I assure you that I will do anything in my power to make certain this site is always up. This was beyond my control, and actually prompted me to look at other hosting alternatives, but not many companies in South Africa seem to promise 99% + uptime. Let us hope this problem will not occur again.

I included our hosting company’s name and number. The reason for this is not for any other reason but to ensure good service. I am not always in front of my computer, and it will be excellent if you guys can also give them a call when you realize that the site is off. An email should also do: support@afrihost.com

My apologies for the problems this downtime caused.

I would first like to apologise for the fact that you have been experiencing problems. I understand the gravity and importance of your site being up. I would like to explain the reason for the down time. The reason was due to incorrect permissions being setup on the windows server, this a very unusual error due to the fact that I always apply these default permissions to all the websites allowing them to be fully functional. However now the site is up and functional and I would like to once again apologise for the inconvenience and frustration that this has caused you. If you have any further problems I will endeavour to have them sorted in a timely fashion.
