Telkom Capped Satellite Service into Africa?!

Take a look at this link - rather audacious I would think, particularly given their sub-standard service to local clients... Now they're inflicting themselves north of our borders?! What makes Moholi think that our African neighbours would fall for this? I recall reading somewhere that superior Internet access in some places in Africa has been made available already, utilising the radio spectrum...

There are many services available to you that are much cheaper and offer a totally superior package. e.g. almost unlimited usage after hours - 8pm to 8am, much greater speeds from the same satellites

Have you seen all the provisios for this service?? it's ridiculous-- <b>whats the point</b> of having a 512k pipe if you aren't gonna use it for 'vpn' , 'large emails', or running a 'ftp server'. aaaaarghhh.
