Did anybody buy a antenna to improve their signal strenth recently. Did somebody find a good antenna?

Poynting Antennas!!!!

Go here and have a look at this website:

www.poyntingdirect.co.za

Have a look in their 3g section for a K-LDPA-A0021-03 antenna.

I have been using this for quite a while with a linksys router and have been connected for upwards of 7 days on a trot.

I can vouch for this product and it make a world of difference.

Hope this helps.

Regards

I ran tests comparing the Poynting antenna and the ones from Space TV a while back and the LDPA from Poynting is the best one to get.

From what I've read it would appear that some 2.4GHz WiFi grid antennas work better on 2.1GHz (HSDPA) than most of the commercial 2.1GHz Yagis. Post again if you want any further details. Miro, Cable Applications and SpaceTV all supply grid antennas - start at around R450 but you need to check with the supplier about the HSDPA performance before purchasing.
