With the negative response so far on this forum about the initial 24 month Contract, can you guys give us an indication if this is recognised by Sentech as a potential problem?
I for one would gladly buy the necessary hardware up front and if there was no contract obligations, i would have had my order in already.
I REALLY want to get rid of my ADSL line and go the Sentech route but i can not do this with a 24 month contract due to the fact that i regularly work outside the country for extended periods.

I mean even the Cell phone companies have a pay as you go option, surely Sentech has to considder a wider variety of products to accomodate different user needs.

(PS I know this issue has beed discussed before, but we have never really received an official reply on this issue from Sentech)

This is a marketing/sales question and the Sentech guys on this forum are technical guys.
Phone 0860 736 832 or the switchboard at 011 471 4400 and ask for Winston Smith or Marcel Steyn and put the question to them.
Then come post a reply [:D]

I tried the numbers you gave me, i was told that Winston and Marcel is at the headoffice and given the number (011) 691 7000 to phone. This number just rings and rings, tried it a few times, will continue trying and post if i find anything.

I had no problem getting hold of people at Sentech. They are in a stage before launch and publisity (such as MyADSL) has obviously flooded them. Let's give them time to get out of the starting blocks with MyWireless. There is no such thing as the perfect world. We are all humans (I hope).
