hi Guys need some opensuse help, please.

I am trying add a local repositories for opensuse but just can't get it to accept the address i put in. Can any one help me please with a proper working link please. I normally use Mandriva and it automatically gives you a list of SA links to add but I cant get it to work in opensuse. Pretty Please :o

keep getting security checksum messages and "gzip pipe broken errors" grrrrrrrrrrrr.

same errors busy trying at home with me 3G connection think somehow errors are work connection related keeps timing out, ( I.T boys dont like me much as they did an I.T audit last week with some fancy software thing and they were stumped cause it wouldn't run on my laptop) :D

K works at home on 3G, ;) something new to to beat them about tomorrow, next problem, I am using KDE 3 at the moment not loving KDE 4 yet, I activate compiz.... under utilities but its gone everytime I reboot have to re do the whole desktop effects thingy miggigy ????:confused:

Check it out on the opensuse wiki - you missed a crucial step.

K well thats one thing that is easier in Mandriva anyway here is the answer if anyone else has this problem http://en.opensuse.org/Compiz_Fusion#openSUSE_11.0 look half way down.

Off to get Virtualbox working now. Thanks Lib.
