um, Telkom is a South African company... they couldn't give a rat's tooshie what the FCC says about "net neutrality"! :rolleyes:
really? are they saffers? hmmm, must have slipped my mind

what i was asking was WOULD they be whipped by those laws, IF (hypothetically speaking) those laws were applicable here?

Problem is... we have been coming at Telkom from all sides for years now. We have shown them how their arguments are full of holes... caps are stupid, shaping is stupid.. .etc... but so far all of it has fallen on deaf ears. And the stupid govt is not about to do anything about it either. They benefit from it.

Telkom like everything else in this country that is broken and diseased can be fixed with a change of govt. This I doubt will happen unfortunately.
