I've got a Wireless Lan Access Point / Switch (Buffalo WBR-G54). It has 4 Switch Ports and 1 WAN port. The WAN port can be configured to use PPPoE (here are my pppoe settings):
Name:
Username:
Password:
Service Name:
Connection Type: (Connection on Demand/Continuous Connection/Manual)
Disconnection Time: (0 for never)
Authorization: (Auto/CHAP/PAP)
MTU Size: (1454) bytes
MRU Size: (1454) bytes
Keep Alive: (Enable/Disable)
Activation: (Enable/Disable)

You can also Set it to use a gateway & add DNS addresses to it.

I have 4x Computers connected to it (3 desktops + 1 wireless laptop)

Will I be able to get the Mywireless USB version and connect it with a UTP cable to my WAN port and then be able to share my access point's Internet Access in the same way as I currently share ISDN?

i heard that sentech mywireless does not use 802.11b technology... so i dont think ur router is gonna work with the product

atmosphere, looks like that router will work just fine with the sentech modem in pppoe mode. You'll have to get the Ethernet cable from Fastcomm though since the modem only comes with the USB cable. It's not a normal UTP cable, so you can't make your own or buy from a computer store.
What I have found, is that when you share the connection (NAT) you have to make the MTU,MRU smaller. I use 1412

flash is right, looks like you've got all the makings of a PPPoE connection there. You won't need the service name, use CHAP authentication & drop the MTU/MRU sizes a litte and you're good to go.
