Haitians eating mud to survive

Terrible! I'm not sure what's worse ... the fact that Haitians have to eat mud cakes or that we're harbouring Aristide.

I don't understand why SA continues to support despots.
 
Woooow! thats f*** bad! And the world just looks the other way? We can spend R900million on Sentech for crying out loud!! Imagine the amount of staple food one can buy with that kinda money. For countries like the USA they probably have that kinda cash lying around in a ministers office drawer as spare change!

Wouldnt it be a better idea to eat grass, weeds plants trees leaves insects small animals(mice,rats,birds) even cannibalism makes more sense. Dont they need nutrients?
 
I lived in the Dominican Republic and at times very close to the Haitian border. Meet many Haitians and they are really great and mellow people. My brother just came back from Haiti a few weeks ago after a day visit of crossing the border. He said he has never been more depressed in his life after visiting Port-au-Prince. If world leaders had not interferred so much in their recent politics than perhaps the country would be better off. Aristide should have been given more of a chance to govern... my 0.02

Aristide legalised vodoo in a last gasp attempt to retain power. There were people running around with the limbs of other people thanks to the legalised vodoo rituals. He was corrupt, inept and dangerous.

Another thing, uncle Thabo spent 13 mill on Haiti's "democracy" celebrations a few years ago just before Aristide got kicked out. That could have fed a few people.

Haiti was the world's first black democracy, but for black people (Thabo are you listening?) it is nothing to write home about.
 
Thabo still said that France is in fact responsible for the mess in Haiti!

Haiti became independant 208 years ago or something, but its still the former colonial powers fault?

the so-called leaders of this country as completely corrupt. therefore, almost anything goes.
