Sennheiser CX 300 in Cape Town?

I had a pair that were purchased in England but they broke :(. Really miss them, great set of 'phones.
 
:eek: omw, I bought a pair and think they cost £19 or something. +/- R600 just sounds scary!
 
They look great but definitely not in my price bracket. Don't want to spend more than +-R500.
 
I remember Prophecy up in JHB used to stock CX300 around R300 a month or two ago.....
 
19 quid, u sure? I payed around R500 for mine from the apple store in London.
 
bought my cx300s from govan mani in durban...for R315 think twas
 
Go to Sybaritic and find the Razer proTones m100. It's R250 and completely identical to the CX300, except with some extras and improvements. I've got them and compared them to a friend's CX300. Exactly the same, except for the logo. Find some reviews of, they'll say the same.
 
It's ridiculous that these cost so much locally. It's not as if importing them should really cost as much as speakers or amplifiers. I'd love a pair myself, but I don't trust the cheap ones being advertised on these "market-place" sites and on Ebay

Buy from a reputable seller.

Thanks, I've settled on these. As you say, they look identical to the M100's, even better. And you get that carry bag with it for half the price of the M100's.
 
Just got them now, they are exactly the same as the Sennheiser CX 300, just rebranded/coloured. And the carry case fits an iPod in it :D.

R270, can't go wrong with them. 10/10.

Got the M100s today - rather impressed. Was a quick decision, thanks for the recommendations.
