nope as you need a phone line to use adslI'm paying R100+ a month for a phone number that I've never used plus R350+ rand for ADSL. Is there any way to cancel the phone line but keep the ADSL? I'm basically paying for a service that I don't use.
I would rather say you don't NEED a phone line (analogue voice service) rather just the copper in the ground. In most other countries where there's competition in the DSL arena, this type of service is avaliable, usually referred to as Naked ADSL.nope as you need a phone line to use adsl

Unfortunately since we have no competition, our incumbent can demand that you take voice service before they give you ADSL, so our hopes of all going naked are just a dream.
