Jamie Carragher whinging and moaning about playing for England. Saying that he could not care about putting on the England shirt. Maybe it is for that reason why he was dropped from the England setup... If you don't want to play for the badge, then something is missing...

King, Terry, Ferdinand, Woodgate

All of them better than that goose. Anyone recall his shambolic performance in the CL final against Milan. He was toxic.

Lol. :D

I was thinking the same thing this morning, having read the second article in a short while over his views, particularly related to what he said in his autobiography.

I wouldnt be suprised if he was called up, the pool of players the enlgland coach gets to choose from is not very big.

Carragher's autobiography in a nutshell:

Grew up in the slums of Liverpool stealing hubcaps and mugging old ladies.
Had a choice between the dole or playing football. Opted for the latter.
Had 1 lucky season and got a medal.
Achieved nothing at international level. Finding myself behind 5 other central defenders.
Never really rated by anyone other than scousers wearing red shirts.
Embarrassed myself in the CL final against Milan.
Continued in the doldrums of mediocrity and now look forward to competing with Manchester (city) for the last CL spot.

Wouldn't you be sour if guys like Ledley King and Woodgate who have not played more than 10 games a season over the last 3 years(And achieved f-all) were getting called up ahead of you?

England's defense is pathetic,so let them continue using Terry, Ferdinand and Woodgate. Sven made the same mistake as did McCLaren. Let's see if Capello will use the same defense:)

I think he has every right to be sour. And I couldn't be happier that he's not wasting his time and risking getting injured with the England squad anymore:)

Truth is - he is not that good. As confirmed by 3 international managers and every non liverpool supporting football fan. I just think that it is pathetic all the drivel he that is coming out of his mouth especially saying that he never cared when he played for England.

He is a t0sser and I am glad he was ditched long ago.

Jamie Carragher. A man hailed by all and sundry for his honesty, down-to-earthness and professionalism.

Even the great Stevie Gerrard said so in March: "It's a wonderful record for Carra to have and I'm sure he will go on to break even more records in the future because he is a top professional who always looks after himself and who always gives 100% in every game."

Interesting. What then, to make of the following excerpt from Honest Carra's autobiography, as serialised in The Daily Mirror today, in which he discusses former Liverpool teammate Rigobert Song:

'He strolled off to his French speaking friends and began talking to them. I could see him pointing towards me while everyone was grinning. It was clear what he was saying and the rage inside me simmered.

'Later, Song walked on to the training pitch with a smile on his face. He was limping off it with a grimace an hour later. The first chance I got, I did him. Never have I hunted down a 50-50 tackle with greater appetite

"You're not f***ing laughing now are you, you soft t**t?" I said as he hobbled away.

'Did I care he had a knock? No way. I don't remember him or anyone else in the squad for that matter trying to take the piss out of my ability again.'

Please Kuyt laugh at Carra

Always gives 100% in every game - except when he represented his country in which case he could not give a toss... What a model professional...

Untalented waster who was punching way above his weight. Only playing next to Hypia made him look decent.

Well Carragher has at least played for England, even with 5 centre backs ahead in the selection. I'm sure poor old Steve Bruce would have something positive to say about that, lol.
