Where's the equestrian sports on any of the SABC channels ?

I remember having seen lots of those in the days where there was only one SABC channel.

Nowadays, we have 3 channels, but very little, if any, equestrian events. Yes, we do have the odd Durban July, and J&B Met, but then they show more of the people than the actual sport. Besides that, where is the showjumping - I used to live that - steeplechasing, dressage etc ? Hell, did anyone even know that South Africa has a Lippizaner collection?

So much for "The playing fields of South Africa"; I don't think that all of them are being covered.
 
I guess it's simply not popular enough to dedicate viewing time to it, also you're the first person I've heard of who wants to watch equestrian events on television in South Africa. The SABC wants to support as many people as possible but there has to be a large enough audience to watch the programme, especially when it applies to sports (news and cultural programmes have different criteria).
The SABC previously broadcast equestrian events because (and I'm guessing here) someone in programming liked horse racing. Broadcasting is ultimately a business like any other (although it shouldn't be).
