I don't waste my money on re-writable CDs or DVDs... they are not worth the cost. Just use a CD or DVD once and then throw it away.
... and I have never ... yet... lightscribed a CD or DVD... I would not know where to start? A black marker serves me quite well at the moment

I suppose no-one has read the comments from the major hardware players in the blu-ray arena... they give blu-ray as little as a 5 year lifespan.
