For guys with S60 platform phones and GPS ... http://www.tempes.com/

You can now measure your own performance figures - and it's pretty accurate too. My brother tested an A3 2.0T a few nights ago with both his Gtech and a phone. He did 3 runs and the 1st two were identical (7.6 100km/h and 15-odd 1/4 mile) and the last was 0.2 seconds out ...
 
Can't get the 2nd, cool download to run on my phone for some reason :(
 
i got 0-100 of 4.7s!!!!! cooooooooooooool ... just 0.1s off what was claimed

Have to find a N95 8GB, my HTC app doesnt work.
 
yeah esp at altitude ... 3 runs ... 1st time i hesitated slightly ... so got a 0-100km/h of 5.1s .... then 2nd time, went and let off the gas and then floored, got 5.6s ... these two runs i did not realise with this car when the traction is off and gearbox in S6 mode the car when floored revs up to 4000rpm and then launches ... (not using any launch control on the car) ... so thats why i hesitated ... and the third run knowing the car does this got 4.7s, no hesitation on my side ... the problem is i need a road with no cars ... so could not get a 0-400m run ...

yea.... i always wonder about people that like talking about the track when we compare figures.... and as for us comparing the RS4 and the M3 and the C63... it' not like they go racing every other day... hahahaha :) :D
