Johannesburg - A 21-year-old woman was gang-raped by three robbers at her home in Mthatha, Eastern Cape police said on Sunday.

Superintendent Mike Fatyela said three men, two armed with pistols and knives, stormed into the Quick Chicks fast food store near the R51 freeway and held up the family who ran the store at 23:30 on Saturday.

The gang tied up the family members and robbed them of an undisclosed amount of money.

"The woman was in her bedroom. The men entered and took turns raping her," he said.

The robbers also stole a Toyota Hilux bakkie parked inside the yard.

No arrests have been made as yet.

This type of thing happens all over, it's just sometimes, it doesn't make it into the news.

Either way though, it's horrible :(
 
Carte Blanche ran a story of a girl and her dad that took their dogs for a walk.. 4 men tied up her dad and all 4 raped her in front of him.. :(

It is this kind of reply that p1sses the **** out of people when you reply. And the only reason why its not a "thats a horrible thing that happened response from you" is because it is in the cape.
 
Rape capital of the world, there are parts of the world where this is front page news and not a little blurb on page 2 and 3 of a newspaper. Murder also happens all over the world only here it happens 15 000 times a year, I fail to see this logic, this is what helps people survive the reality of South Africa sure, we are jaded by the ultra violent nature of our nation and its people.
