A Swiss daredevil crossed the English Channel strapped to a homemade jet-propelled wing Friday, parachuting into a field near the white cliffs of Dover after a 10-minute solo flight.

What puzzles me is that he jumped from the plane with the wings folded in. I would love to see/understand the mechanism he used to unfold those wings in such high speed winds.

Would really be interested in the overall design of it.

He dives out upside down as far as I can see.
Check it out on the repeat. 9 tonight.
 
Those two Canadian TV presenters were awful though. Surely they could have picked better presenters than the two numskulls they had presenting the show...

Amazing to watch otherwise.
 
LOL I watched this on DSTV otherwise I wouldn't see it. No streaming for me :(
