Those Football hooligans don't know what they letting themselves in for. I think they'll be sorely mistaken if they think they can come run amok in SA, they'll be raped, hijacked, pillaged and murdered before they can start their nonsense.

(More OT) This IS good news, no matter how you look at it. Can't you just take good news for what it is and leave it at that? There is nothing clever about always responding to any good news with a negative retort. Especially when it's so obviously good news. Cynicism != intelligence. This will be good for SA.
 
I agree this is definately good news. It will do wonders for our economy and uniting people as the president stated numerous times over the past few days.

I just hope Telkom don't use this as an excuse to further degrade service and hike prices.

Don't be so negative please...this is great for our economy and people. If you believe in Metaphysics, there is a simple truth which comes into play. The better future we expect, the better future we will have.

I am happy...I just need to find out in which hotel the Brazilian girls are planning to stay in :-)

I think it's great news, because it is bringing in several million dollars for SA. New roads and stadiums and so on are also part of the deal.

Oh, and at least we won't need to hear the term "cautious optimism" for a bajillionth time! [:D]

I doubt they will at first (or ever), but a nice station on Ontdekkers in Roodepoort would be great :)
