Bush Presidency: Day 1 Dow Jones = 10,587 points, 8 years later; 10,365 points

Two market crashes in his two terms - the DotCom bubble and now the credit bubble. Though I think the seeds for the first of these was most probably sown during the Clinton administration.

Actually Bush has improved

The DOW was at 9605.51 on September 10 2001. He managed to wipe off nearly a 1000 points in a few months after taking office while twiddling his thumbs. Then he pulled off 9/11 to drop it another 684 points.

Of course that was all Duyba's doing in a few months and not the result of 8 years of Clinton's policies.

Balanced budget = Clinton policy ? Americans getting excited about making coin off the internet, when the net became commercial, Bill Clinton, did not force them to buy into the DotCom boom ....

and Duyba never forced them to "make coin" off subprime

The claim of what the DOW was when he became president compared to know doesn't hold water. Even by Huffington's standard( or lack there of) it's particularly poor piece propaganda.
